Did 2 shifts of driving today. It worked out well as I ended up with almost $300 for the day.
The first trip was freaky. The guy didn't walk straight to the vehicle but instead walked slightly past and then come towards the door almost as if he was trying to exploit the blind spot. I started the ride and he suggested that I turn in the opposite direction as the app was showing. All good. The app can adjust and show the new route. Then he did it again. I verified his name, and based on the tone of his voice, it offended him. I suggested that he guide me where he needed to go, and the app would track us so all could come out correctly. He then suggested that he could get "cash back" or something due to the difference in the route. I told him that there would be no difference as the app would track us and adjust the rate. He guided me to the 7-11 at Whitestone and Ronald Reagan and begin asking about how he could get a ride back. I told him that since the app did not have the correct original information that we would end this ride and then start fresh with a new request for the return. He opened the door and then set there trying to see how long another Uber would be in picking him up. I reassured him that I and other Ubers were close by and need not worry. He finally got out and shut the door. I immediately left the parking lot and went up the hill to Wal-Mart where I parked and submitted a quick note to Uber about the wrong drop off location being entered. The way the guy responded to my questions revealed how big of an asshole he is.
Tonight, I had the most beautiful Asian woman rider that I have ever seen in my life.
Discovered that the 7-11 at 183 and Osage has the normal sized Pepsi in a can.
Finished up when I dropped off an XL group in downtown RoundRock. I then headed straight out towards 620 and the Whataburger that is on 620 near O'Connor.
