The conversations that the two riders were having during the first trip really messed with my brain. Such so that the rest of the evening felt just a little off. The politics, rumors, and who should be in what role in a company is important but I just didn't feel these two were genuinely professional. They certainly talked the part and for all I know they could be the owners of the company but there was a complete absence of feelings or personality in either of them. I did, however, learn a new cliché. "Sharp elbows" to describe someone who is abrasive in their interactions with others.
The Live Strong foundation is still out there but struggling. This group of riders had some form of connection with Lance Armstrong. Apparently he has had to sell a $7 million dollar home and other things to keep up with the lawsuits, one of which was from the U.S. Government (U.S. Postal Service was his sponsor for multiple years).
Dropped off at a restaurant that I had not seen before, The Launderette and the last ride tonight was a drop of at Uchiko which is a restaurant that I had not picked up or dropped off at in a long time. Might as well throw in two more from the night. Lambert's and Nightcap.
